Who fed the Refugees and Poor

Me and my musings.

Wouldn’t it be great if the rich Countries looked after the poor.

If only the G20 rich Countries, could have launched simultaneous action to manage COVID and the domestic financial impacts, as well as thinking about the millions that could die in the refugee camps, and in the Poorest of Poor countries.

It was two about 2 weeks ago that the BBC gave any insight as to what was happening in the refugee camps and the Poorest countries.

It was an interview given by the former Prime Minister of Norway and former UN senior leader.

I think it was Gro Harlem Brundtland ( as Google shows that she held these 2 positions).

She spoke well and with passion, but was only given approximately 2 minutes of air-time.

I have heard nothing since from any Leader.
Here in the UK, it would not be too difficult for DfID ( Department for International Development) to release all of the AID budget.  Release it now, with no strings attached.
And even the remaining AID budget could easily be boosted to levels that might actually save hundreds of thousands of lives.

Come on Media.
Come on G20.
Come on UK Government.

Please wake up and stop the biggest potential humanitarian disaster that is unfolding now.

Wouldn’t it be great if we saw some Action.

Love and Peace
