The unprecedented use of the word ‘unprecedented’

The unprecedented use of the word ‘unprecedented’

The Oxford English definition of the word unprecedented is:-  that has never happened, been done or been known before

The Daily Mail (UK) published at list of the top 20 pandemics referencing The Britannica Encyclopaedia

Deaths                    Year                       Name
1.       200m                   1347-1351             The Black Death ( Bubonic Plague)
2.       56m                     1520                      Smallpox
3.       45m                     1918-19                 Spanish Flu
4.       40m                     541-542                 The Plague of Justinian

COVID 19 ranks at 15th place at present with a global death level of circa 125,000

This compares to the 8 million deaths of children from starvation and diarrhoea every year for the last 20 years (WaterAid).  And in this year 2020, tragically it can be anticipated to be at least double these previous numbers.

So, why are journalists, politicians and World Leaders using the word ‘unprecedented’ so often ?

I guess that the answer may be found by looking at the impact on the Rich Countries, where for years we have been fed that lie that we are in control of our lives.    It certainly has not been the case that this view is held in the majority of the world.   The ability to control our lives is just something that became a view with the Rich countries.

Being shaken off of a fundamental core belief is disturbing so many people.  This ‘control’ falsehood has become part of our DNA.

We have had to learn over the last month, that COVID can strike anywhere.  We have also learned that COVID is not random.  This virus targets those with pre-existing health conditions, the elderly, the poor and men ( more than women).    This targeting is the reason why COVID has hit the black, Asian and Minority Groups hardest where in the UK they are 2.5x more likely to be impacted than white people.

When we consider the 8,000,000 deaths per year of children from starvation and diarrhoea, it could be argued that the world has been in a state of pandemic for many many years.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the WORLD resets after COVID and takes its obligations to all humanity seriously, and especially the children and the poor.

Love and Peace.

  1. Then the deaths due to abortion too Kevin.
'People' who make these statements ignore history as you have mentioned. And indeed there is growing evidence that the causes of death are really quite sketchy as mention by Montana physician Dr. Annie Bukacek has mentioned how COVID 19 death certificates are being manipulated in the States. Here is the link, so if this is the case in US , how thorough are we logging true causes of death. My question is this, so is no-one dying from normal 'flu anymore? https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=428&v=_5wn1qs_bBk&feature=emb_logo

    1. Hi Bernadette .. I think I read recently in CARE that 65% of UK pregnancies were aborted .. I will go back and check the report .. shocking .. I have had dealings with BPAS in my past and they present themselves as a nice front but it’s legalised murder
